Monitoring underground storage for CO2 Leakage

CO2 (CeeOhTwo)  is developing the ability to accurately monitor CO2 movement in the reservoir for Carbon Capture Underground Storage projects and assess the reservoir seal for any leakage.

Data will be collected using 4D seismic in real time with either permanently placed geophones or using drone placed geophones.

Such measuring and monitoring will be crucial for risk assessment and mitigation and is likely to be a requirement in the ability to raise finance for such projects.
